Mizuno Golf Online Booking System

Mizuno Golf needed a booking journey that could work across retailers, fitting events and National Fitting Centres. We integrated its WordPress website with an online booking system and e-Commerce platform to coordinate appointments, payments and communications around each fitting.

From finding a fitting to booking a place

A great fitting experience starts before a golfer arrives. They need to find the right location, understand what is available and choose a suitable time. Behind the scenes, the fitting team needs the same booking details, a workable schedule and a clear view of who is coming.

Mizuno’s network brings together retailers, fitting events and National Fitting Centres. These locations do not all operate in the same way, so a generic appointment booking system would not be enough.

We connected location discovery with scheduling, payments and communications, creating booking workflow automation around the people who organise and deliver each fitting.

A WordPress booking system built on the fitting locator

We connected Mizuno’s Map List Pro location system with Bookly, bringing discovery and appointment booking together within its WordPress platform.

A bookable event or centre is linked to the appropriate service, staff and schedule. Customers can move from the location they have found into its booking journey, choose an available appointment and provide the information needed for their fitting.

Some listings are there to help people find a retailer or event without offering online appointments. Booking is enabled only where the required service and staffing have been configured.

Matching appointments to the people delivering them

Availability needs to reflect what the fitting team can actually deliver. We connected event dates and times with assigned fitters, working hours and service duration, so each booking schedule can match its location.

Administrators can create or update a fitting event, select its country, assign staff and connect the relevant service. For scheduled Performance Centres, the setup also brings together session length, pricing and the information requested from the customer.

The workflow fits Mizuno’s country-site network. Booking schedules can update immediately for published locations, while location content follows the established overnight publishing process.

Marketing Health Check

Booking automation that keeps people informed

Booking an appointment creates a series of handovers. The customer needs confirmation, the fitter needs to prepare, and the people coordinating the event need to know what has changed.

The notification workflow covers booking confirmations, customer reminders, staff agendas and cancellation updates. For fitting events, notifications can also reach the relevant Area Sales Manager and golf club where those recipients have been configured.

When an event is created, the golf club can receive event information, promotional material and a booking link, connecting the appointment system with the wider work of organising a fitting day.

Connecting appointments with WooCommerce payments

Paid fittings add another step to the customer journey. The customer needs to understand the session and its price, then complete payment as part of the booking process.

Bookly manages the service, staff and schedule. For priced services, WooCommerce provides the checkout, using the relevant country site’s currency and payment gateway.

The integration connects the appointment with the order and receipt workflow. It supports paid National Fitting Centre appointments alongside fitting events that do not require payment, without treating every location as the same kind of service.

A working booking workflow across a distributed network

The result is an online booking system that connects the public website with the schedules, payments and communications behind each appointment. Golfers can move from finding a bookable fitting to reserving their place, while the team manages the information that makes it possible.

A historic appointment-register snapshot contains 102 records marked Approved across 38 named services. It demonstrates recorded use across a range of fitting services, but it is not a current booking total or a measure of completed fittings.

The structured booking data and repeatable workflow also provide a stronger base for future reporting, optimisation and AI-assisted operations. The immediate value, however, is dependable automation around a real customer journey.
