A retrospective of recent launches and learning

Red Balloon's work from the last Quater

The last few months here at Red Balloon seem to have flown by. As a busy digital agency there is generally little time between projects to sit back and reflect on past achievements however I have hidden myself away in the attempt to do so now.

Taking time to reflect on a whirlwind few months allows us all to enjoy the results we have achieved for our clients, whilst also allowing us to highlight specific areas that we have learnt valuable lessons on in terms of development and process to further improve our business offering moving forward.

Exciting Product Launches

Both Papa Johns and Mizuno Golf Europe have had major product launches which we have been integral in the delivery of. Papa John’s saw us develop a landing page which overarched their social campaign around the new Deep Crust Pizza. Mizuno Golf Europe unleashed the new MP range of irons, and as in previous years Red Balloon designed and developed a fully immersive digital platform to showcase these truly inspiring clubs.

Social Aggregator deployment

As part of the Papa John’s Pizza project we researched, developed and deployed a solution using an off the shelf Social Aggregator – Curator.io We were able to produce a fully bespoke front-end through heavily adapting the supplied API, allowing us to create a living, breathing brand engagement piece completely aligned to the brands guidelines. We really enjoyed this project and look forward to building upon this success in the future. View the work here. Big shout out to the guys at Curator.io too 🙂

Delivering two fresh brands and websites

One of the best feelings doing what we do for a living is being involved with a client at the start of their business journey. Recently we had the pleasure of being involved in two such projects with Prestige Resin Floors and Millbridge Grabs and Aggregates. Both have different requirements and starting points but similar goals for Red Balloon – and we delivered new branding and websites to push their company forward and commence trading. Using our agile processes we were able to create a comprehensive brand for both, backed up with bespoke website builds with custom functionality built in to suit their needs. Both projects were completed to a pre-prescribed timescale and budget, with the usual high level client engagement. Warm and fuzzies were felt all around.

With the festive season nearly upon us we are looking forward to receiving feedback on our own new site, and looking ahead to a busy New Year.

Get in touch – we are a friendly bunch!
