We recently supported the launch of Pyjama Hotel, a new Indian delivery offering from The Restaurant Group. The project involved creating a new website, print design of brochures as well as online display ads to kick-start the launch of the new brand.
Pyjama Hotel is an online Indian food provider delivering through third party aggregators such as Just Eat and Uber Eats. It was up to us to create a website, brochure and online advert that met the following criteria:
- Increase the brand awareness and online presence
- Increase the performance of online sales
The message to the public was to answer the following questions;
- Who are Pyjama Hotel?
- What’s their personality and their purpose?
- What are their unique selling points?
Design and Development of a branded website
Our first goal for the site was to understand the user experience. What journey would the user go on and allow them to explore the online delivery services story before browsing through the exotic dishes available and making an order. The user would be presented with call to actions and clear opportunities to order online throughout their experience, encouraging people to take action upon finding a dish that stimulated their desire for Indian food.
With the menu being such an important feature of the site, we created a bespoke, customised WordPress plugin crafted by our team in-house, allowing us to import a spreadsheet of information for each of the menu items in bulk, allowing the website to mirror the online delivery services where customers would ultimately make their purchase seamlessly.
Print design of a promotional brochure
Alongside the new website we created a printed promo brochure with menu that would be delivered to the public in central London. A four page A5 flier creatively brought to life the brand and set the scene for a cosy night in with an Indian takeaway, with the warm, passionate energy that the brand represents.
Design of animated display ads
The online ads required by Pyjama Hotel are used across Google and Facebook display platforms. In a host of sizes, the two campaigns portrayed are in the form of a broad brand message as well as a campaign based around a bundle package available.
Despite working under pressure to get the ads, website and print materials live in time for the much anticipated launch, this was a satisfying project to be a part of and the team are especially proud to be able to partner with The Restaurant Group to deliver an integrated suite of creative and technical work that exudes the qualities that this top tier delivery brand represents.
